It is common knowledge that many people struggle to stick to their New Years Goals. While some are successful in achieving their resolutions, many others give up after a few weeks or months. Common reasons for straying away from their goals include lack of motivation, difficulty in maintaining new habits, and setting unrealistic expectations.

To help our members stay on track, we encourage them to follow these tips:

  1. Be specific: Rather than setting broad goals such as "get in shape," we suggest setting specific, measurable goals like "lose 5 pounds in a month" or "attend 4 classes a week".
  2. Create a plan: It's important to have a clear plan for how to achieve your goals. It could be setting a plan that every M, W, F you attend the 6:30 AM class and you book this weeks in advance!
  3. Track your progress: Monitoring your progress can help you stay motivated and make adjustments as needed. Our gym uses various tools, including the Patch Program and class counting to help our members track their progress.
  4. Find support: Surrounding yourself with supportive people who share your goals can help you stay on track. At Legends Boxing, we foster a sense of community among members and offer group training sessions to help members stay motivated.
  5. Celebrate your successes: Celebrating small victories along the way can help keep you motivated and focused on your goals. Our coaches encourage members to acknowledge their progress and celebrate their successes, no matter how small they may seem.

By following these tips, our members can increase their chances of sticking to their New Year's resolutions and achieving their fitness goals. While setbacks and challenges may arise, it's important to remember that progress is not always linear, and every step forward is a step in the right direction. Let's start fresh and begin your New Year's Resolutions again!
