Scott Hatter
President & Coo

Scott is the Legends President and COO.  He is a franchise leader with over 25 years of experience operating franchises as both a franchisee and a franchisor.  He comes to Legends to ignite the brand’s growth and customer experience.  He is the perfect example of the brand’s core values and proves that Legends Boxing is the perfect experience for the everyday person that doesn’t have a boxing background.  He loves working out in the gym while learning boxing techniques and getting an incredible workout without having a boxing background.

Scott is our fearless leader with a natural ability to lead a team through a very collaborative and purposeful approach. He brings passion and experience to the Legends team that has the brand poised to explode!   The Legends culture and tribe are what most attracted Scott to take on this role.

When not working, you’ll find Scott riding his bike, playing tennis, skiing, working out or spending quality time with his wife and three older children. He is a graduate of Washington State University and a college sports fanatic.

Andrew Scott
Co-Founder &
National Head Coach

Andrew is the head coach and co-founder of Legends Boxing Lehi, the first ever Legends gym. He helps manage classes, coaches, workouts, maintain equipment, and the continuous education for staff and coaches.Andrew was with Legends from the beginning in 2010, when it was originally called XSI Boxing. Though he started out as a graduate from Wyo-Tech in automotive, his younger years were spent boxing, and in 2012 and 2013 he won Utah’s Golden Gloves Championship.It is with his help and direction that Legends has flourished. However, when he’s not at the gym, he’s at the golf course or spending time with his family who is always #1.

Mike Samson
Franchise Development

Mike develops and executes the franchise sales process for Legends.Prior to joining the Legends team, his management and development skills were honed through over 15 years of experience in retail leadership, which included seasons as a District Manager and National Director for Best Buy. He excels at planning, developing, and executing at all levels, and has an innate ability to build relationships and influence people.Mike enjoys playing golf and watching football (go Cowboys!); but above all, he loves spending time with his family. He can often be found running his kids to their sports practices and games, cheering them on from the sidelines.

Connor  Stone
Marketing   Manager

Connor is in charge of managing all marketing at Legends as well as ensuring that the company’s online presence follows all best practices. He began with Legends in 2019 and is eager to help the company grow both on the franchise level as well as through marketing new branded products. With a degree in IT from the University of New Hampshire and a strong background in digital marketing for a number of years, Connor provides a diverse skillset for Legends to take advantage of in many different ways. Outside of work, Connor enjoys working out, traveling, spending time with family/friends, as well experiencing the many activities available in Utah such as golf, snowboarding and hiking.

Michael Debenham
Director of
Compliance

Michael creates the legal and compliance documents for the franchise, and he assists prospects through the signing process.Michael was initially consulted about the franchise process but with his knowledge and expertise was quickly brought onboard. He has been a franchise leader for the past 12 years and founded two nation-wide brands: American Title Loans and Deka Lash.Michael graduated from BYU but hails from Alaska where he brings his love of excitement, adventure, and the outdoors. He’s even one of the few people who can claim to have climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and to have finished the 2000-mile Iron Dog, the toughest snowmobile race in the world.

Paydn Augustine
National Art
and Design Manager

Paydn has been working with Legends since it's early days as a single gym nestled in Lehi. He has been working in the Art & Design field since 2010 working with various publications, musicians, and of course, Legends Boxing. Paydn has been involved with every aspect of Legend's appearance, from shooting photos and post processing, to designing all of our print and digital media, and even creating the designs for all our in-house gear & apparel.

When he isn't in the office, Paydn is a dedicated outdoorsman and conservationist, with backpacking, fishing, hunting and hammock camping at the top of his priority list. He is a passionate photographer and artist, with an emphasis on landscape photography and creative product photography of whiskey bottles, accompanied by intricate tasting notes and reviews on his "Whiskey Wednesdays" blog.

Mary Malie
Director Of operations

Mary does a bit of everything, from managing social media, creating promotional events, and even helping maintain the website.She began her work with us in 2017 after helping other companies like NUVI with their social and managing needs. She loves working with Legends because of the emphasis on family and the unique experience for members.Beyond her tireless dedication to her job, Mary spends her time with her husband and daughter, along with maintaining her status as an Endurance Athlete. She’s competed in 9 marathons and finished 3 70.3 Ironman triathlons. To say she loves adventure and risks is an understatement.

Teri  Harman
National Account Manager

Teri Harman started working in the fitness industry 20 years ago. She’s managed and trained instructor teams, created wellness programs, taught many different types of group fitness, including yoga for 16 years, and created successful marketing campaigns. She has a degree in exercise and sport science from the University of Utah. 

Teri joined the Legends corporate team after being a member and coach-in-training at the Lehi location. The minute she stepped into the gym she knew Legends was different and loaded with potential to change lives for the better. In her role as National Account Manager, she enjoys creating training and best practices for our team, building efficient procedures, and working closely with owners, team members, and members. She’s a Legends Certified Head Coach. 

Outside the gym, Teri is a published author of six novels, a mom to three kids, an avid reader, and dedicated TV and movie nerd.
